Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke, born in Newport Beach, California on 22 March 1989 is one of America's most famous and wealthiest Pole Vaulters. A photo of her competing in a track meet for teenagers went viral in 2007, and she was made the pole vaulter of her dreams. Instagram and Twitter are her two most viewed social media sites. She is well known for her track and field performance, similar to Jessica Ennis Hill. According to the Los Angeles Times, among other newspapers, reported that Stokke did not seek or endorsed such attention. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society, linked Stokke's case to that of American soccer athletes Alex Morgan and Hope Solo. Both women were accused of being sexualized and their public image was presented in a manner that the authors claimed to diminish the sporting achievements. Concerning Stokke they also pointed out the fact that online comments were frequently insulting in nature and blamed the process of sexualization on the women themselves. Many of the comments drew comparisons with Brandi Chastain's performance at 1999's FIFA Women's World Cup Final celebration in her sports bra, where the successes of women were obscured because of discussions about their appearance. The online journalist snapped photos of Stokke's performances during the World Cup in New York, early in 2007. With Leather sports blog, which has an enormous male audience, reposted the photograph in May. It was called Pole Vaulting is Almost Legal and criticized Stokke's sexuality. Matt Ufford, the owner of the website which the photo was published on and threatened with legal action by the photographer in the event that the photo wasn't removed. But the post received lots of interest from other websites and also the image was subsequently removed. Stokke was able to create a website dedicated to her with images showing her in the pole-vault. The photos were shared across social media, they were viewed by hundreds of thousands. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She wanted Florida to complete her the high school. Alyce decided in 1974 that she wanted to make a career change through an internship. Alyce was proudly brought up by a professor's daughter. The family she lives with provides financial assistance for her. Alyce as well as her family live in Texas, as Alyce's father is employed by the U.S. Army. The family of Alyce celebrated her father's birthday on the 92nd of his birth three years earlier. Alyce shared a picture of her beautiful daughter on the internet, in recognition of her father's contributions to the U.S. Army. She also encourages her daughter to focus on education. The daughter she has enrolled in received the National Merit Award from the University, and will be celebrating her 22nd birthday in 2022.
