Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28 1967). Wuhrer first made her acting debut as a teenager. Her most well-known role was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as for playing the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She is the mother of three sisters and brothers. As a teenager She performed in nightclubs when she escaped from her home. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School at 13 years old she pursued a degree in drama at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts located at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. She also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the famed Uta Hagen. Born in Brookfield on April 28th in 1967. Her birthplace was in Brookfield, Connecticut, on April 28, 1967. Kari's siblings are three. As a teenager her nightclub performances were a highlight when she would sneak away and perform. Kari was 13 when she began acting lessons at Wooster School. She had her debut big breakthrough in the form of MTV Remote Control in 1987.
