Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a playback vocalist also known as an actress, musician and playback singer. She primarily works as musician and performer for Tamil as well as Malayalam-language movies. Annayum, Rasoolum marked her Malayalam and Tamil debut. She made her debut in Tamil in the film with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family from Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor working at the Madras High Court. She is the younger sister of a researcher assistant who lives in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born in Chennai was a student at Chennai National Public School. He was a graduate of Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to begin studying piano at the age of eight. She was a big geek and dreamed of becoming psychiatrist. In her twenties, she became a part of a group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the foundation of her singing and music composing career. Additionally, she worked as a stage performer during college. Then she was The Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea's acting career started by performing with actor Girishkarnad Nagamandala. She was featured in a leo commercial for coffee in 2006 with actor Shiva in the year 2006. She also starred in a television show that was aired on Podhigai. Her performances have been seen across India. She played a minor role on the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). She sang a song for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. He asked her to be one of his main female characters in Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea appeared as Kalyani, a housewife with a husband who has had an affair. Andrea was allegedly blackmailed. Andrea was chosen to play Kalyani in the wake of Simran Shobana, Tabu as well as other actors were asked to audition. The film debuted in the beginning of 2010. In the beginning of 2010, she was cast in a minor role in the film of Venkat Mankatha in 2011 which starred a number of actors. In 2013 she was the first to debut in Malayalam film by appearing in Rajeeev's love story Annayum Rasoolum.
