Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place on the 16th of April, 1996, in Miami Florida. The child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father is Argentine with Scottish-English descendance. She is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy is one of the five children. Four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, when the family moved to Victoria within London. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was very traumatic. She was not willing to study English and was hoping to move back to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands was required to take her. Then she went to Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. At the age of 16 she left school to pursue a profession as an actress full-time. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her goals were realized when she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
